My nam e is Sarah. In May 2021, I completed my MSSA (MSW equivalent) at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. My primary focus is in community building, conversation facilitation, and storytelling, all with a lens on examining structural change. My goal is to use these skills to rethink our engrained systems and update them to better serve and support the community at-large. Additionally, I am an LSW (licensed social worker). Prior to entering this MSSA program at MSASS, I had a twenty-four year career in small business management and community building. I have over ten years of experience running social media, both in for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Besides my MSSA, I've earned both a BA in English with minors in Writing and History from Kent State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
